¿WHO AM I?
Garbiñe Mélida Serna - Garbi Mere

After studying "Audiovisual and show direction" at Mendizabala secondary institute and "Fine Arts" at the University of the Basque Country (which allowed me to study scenography one year at Accademia di Belle arti di Palermo (Italy) on an Erasmus interchange program), I got interested in the art department of audiovisual production and I started to study "Ephemeral Construction" at ESCAC to increase my knowlegde.
Since then I have focused my career on the artistic branch of scenography , by working on shortfilms, theatre, advertisments … participating in different branches as production designer, art asistant, prop person, ephemeral constructor, prop designer, painter...
My work is not limited to any genre or workplace, so I try to be a worker who tries any different chances she's given, since I believe there are so many different working ways, all of them with their own special style and magic, and it's fantastic to take part on the creation of them.
